About Me
I fell in love with the written word at five years old and the love affair has been life-long.
After graduating in English at London university I worked in the UK communications department of IBM (UK) Ltd. Subsequent full-time roles ranged from engineering and local government to British Rail. In each post I had dedicated experience of copywriting, editing, and preparing manuscripts for publication.
Since 1998 I have worked as a freelance writer; editing and writing for clients in education, the public sector, IT and tourism. I am also a published author with seven titles in print, and have in-depth experience of all stages of book production; writing, editing, proof-reading and typesetting to final print stage.
I was first published by Highland Books in 2002 and some of my titles are listed below. I adopted Shropshire as my home county in 1990 and now couldn’t live anywhere else.
